Mom Stuff, LLC was created to support maternal mental health. We believe that moms with postpartum mental illness should not suffer in silence. Mom Stuff provides entertainment and resources for maternal mental health. Moms are at the heart of everything we strive to do.
My name is Cassie Pigg, and yes, that is my real name. I’m no one special. I’m not rich or famous. I’m not a perfect mother telling you how to be a good mom. I’m a very real mom. I fail over and over again, but I keep going.
After the birth of my daughter, I experienced severe postpartum anxiety. At the time, I didn’t even know postpartum depression existed. I had heard about it, but I didn’t think it was a real thing. Why? Because no one really talks about it. I want to change that. I want to get in the trench with you, sis. We need some real talk about the real BS that comes along with being a mom.
If you are struggling with postpartum, get help. Immediately. There is zero shame, and it will make you a better mom! Please don’t make the mistake of thinking you just need to tough it out. Don't let the man get ya down and all that stuff. Get some help!
I started this project several months ago when I decided to write a book on my own personal disaster. Then, I thought, why not build an app? Due to an outpouring of support and confessions from many mamas that have suffered in silence, I have decided to start a blog. Recently we decided to launch a podcast, "Wrecked Mamas," where I join my good mom friend Aja Sexton for some real talk.
